Care Instructions
Hand Washing or Gentle Machine Cycle
For best results, we recommend hand washing your baby’s clothing to maintain its softness and quality. If using a washing machine, select the gentle or delicate cycle to protect the fabric's fibres.
Use Cold or Warm Water
Wash your items in cold or lukewarm water (30°C - 40°C) to prevent shrinkage and maintain colour vibrancy. Higher temperatures can weaken natural fibres, so keeping the water temperature low helps extend the garment’s life.
Air Dry Naturally
After washing, gently reshape your baby’s clothing and lay it flat or hang it to air dry naturally. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as it can cause shrinkage and may wear down the fabric over time.
Ironing Tips
To remove any wrinkles, iron your baby clothes on a low heat setting, using a pressing cloth between the fabric and the iron. This prevents direct heat from damaging delicate cotton fibres while keeping your items looking neat.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Do not use bleach or chemical fabric softeners, as these can irritate sensitive skin and degrade the quality of natural fabrics. Instead, opt for natural alternatives, like a splash of white vinegar during the rinse cycle to soften fibres.
Washing and Drying Dark Colours Separately
To avoid colour transfer, wash dark-coloured clothing separately from lighter items. Air drying dark items out of direct sunlight will also help preserve their rich colour.
These care practices will help keep your clothing soft, safe, and beautiful for a long time, making them perfect keepsakes to be passed down through generations.
